Trogir

The city of Trogir is situated in central Dalmatia, 25 km west of Split, on the north end of the Kastela Bay. Center of Trogir is a micro-space, which occupies an area of 250 km ². The city has a very favorable position, because it is located near the biggest Dalmatian town which was facilitated by the use of the various benefits of a large town.

Trogir is actually a city-museum, full of little streets, stone floors, old walls, and family heraldy. The old core, with Kamerlengo and Sv.Marko, Rector's Palace, the palace Cipicco, North and South gate, the tower of St. Nicholas and Vitturi, churches and monasteries, the remains of the Romanesque-Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. Trogir lies on the island of Ciovo which is connected with a drawbridge, and the land, which is associated with a stone bridge.

Trogir Riviera, consisting of islands, bays and reefs, are a challenge for boaters, especially Drvenik Veli and Mali, Ciovo, Krknjaši ... Numerous sandy beaches, caves and cliffs, are ideal places for summer vacation and swimming.

Trogir has numerous restaurants and taverns offering Dalmatian specialties, particularly seafood.

Trogir summer festival is marked by concerts of classical, choral and folk music, and essential fishing nights. Plenty of nightlife and entertainment, as the squares and streets with live music and stroll the beautiful Trogir waterfront.
